Matt, Mark, Marie and Jeff begin disassembling the optics box.
The optics box open and on its side, with the baffles removed.
Shining a laser through the optics system. The paper mask on the front
of the optics box marks the centre and corners of one of the detector
arrays. Mark directs the laser through one of the holes at various
angles to ensure that it hits the corresponding part of the array. If
you look closely, you can see the laser beam hitting the edge of the
centre hole.

The test in progress.
Still testing.

Marie observes the re-imaged beam (red dot on white piece of paper in
lower left) while Mark measures the laser's position.
Mark constructs a window so that he can map out the beam at the
location of the secondary.

A river we walked to this evening, just north of the base.
