HANSEN LAB
UBC Proteomics
Physics and Astronomy / Electrical and Computer Engineering

Our lab is in the Networks of Centers of Excellence (NCE) building located adjacent to the Michael Smith Laboratories. This building is also home to various biotechnology and proteomics groups, and core facilities including LMB-BL Proteomics Core Facility, the UBC Analytical Hub, and the Nucleic Acid Protein Services (NAPS).

We have direct access to state of the art fabrication facilities at the Advanced Materials Processing and Engineering Laboratory (AMPEL). Equipment in this facility includes class 1,000 and 10,000 clean room enclosures, e-beam and photolithography, thin film deposition, etching, profilometry, electron and STM microscopy.
