Computer Lab Help/Info Sources

Manuals and books are available for borrowing from Room 203A. Faculty, staff and graduate students are required to sign out the material. Short-term loans are available to undergraduate students after a "deposit" of a student card, driver's license or credit card.

Frequently Asked Questions are answered on our web site.

For those new to UNIX, here's a short introductory tutorial.

For an introduction to UNIX commands, type: man intro

For information on a specific command, type: man <command>

If you want to find out if a particular command is available, type: which <command>
,and the path to that command will be displayed if it exists.
